DAMN, SHE BÉO
Asian culture is focused around food and gatherings around meals. Growing up in an Asian household I was also lectured on body
image and was encouraged to fit into a stereotype. Damn, She Béo is an installation derived from the tension I feel while at the dining
table— eating my meal while simultaneously getting bombarded with weight related comments.
